The Chosen – Season 3 – Final Study Guide Rewind

I’m getting excited because we are only a couple of weeks away from the new season of The Chosen! I’m already planning to grab my favorite spot on the couch and binge-watch the season 3 on Amazon Prime. Have you made your plans to watch yet?

Before Season 6 arrives, though, let’s take some time to revisit the incredible moments from Season 3. Whether you’re rewatching the entire season or jumping back into a few favorite episodes, there is so much to enjoy. Season 3 was packed with powerful moments from Scripture brought to life in unforgettable ways.

The season opens with the Sermon on the Mount, where Jesus shares the message of His upside-down Kingdom with authority and compassion. Everywhere He goes, people are talking about it. The disciples are inspired to put His teachings into action, seeking forgiveness, extending grace, and healing old wounds.

Season 3 also takes us to Nazareth, where Jesus nearly gets thrown off a cliff by those who knew Him best. We watch as the disciples are sent out on their two-by-two missionary journey, stepping into their calling with both excitement and uncertainty.

Then come some of the most memorable miracles in the series. Jairus’ daughter is raised from the dead. A woman who has suffered from bleeding for twelve long years is finally healed. The crowds are fed from a boy’s small offering of loaves and fish. And, of course, we witness Peter stepping out of the boat and walking on water with Jesus. Episode after episode, Scripture comes alive in a way that is both moving and unforgettable.

My favorite episode has to be the healing of the woman who had been bleeding for twelve years. Today, a condition like hers would not automatically separate someone from their family, work, or community. But in her time, she was considered unclean and forced to live as an outcast.

The show does a remarkable job of helping viewers feel the weight of her isolation. For twelve years she endured rejection, shame, and loneliness. She couldn’t fully participate in the life around her, and everywhere she turned she was reminded of her condition.

Then everything changed.

With a simple act of faith, she reached out and touched the edge of Jesus’ garment. Instantly, she was healed. But the miracle was about more than physical healing. The most beautiful part of the story is what happened next. Jesus stopped, looked at her, and called her “daughter.”

In that moment, she was no longer defined by her illness or her shame. She was seen, loved, and welcomed. She was a daughter of the King of the universe. What an incredible reminder of who Jesus is and how deeply He cares for each one of us.

As you revisit Season 3, or watch it for the very first time, be sure to check out the attached Season 3 study guide. My hope is that it helps you dive deeper into these stories and see the supporting Scriptures come to life in a fresh and meaningful way.

Happy watching, and let the countdown to Season 6 begin!
