The countdown is officially on. After a year of waiting, rewatching, theorizing, and trying not to stalk every production update, The Chosen Season 6 is finally arriving this November—November 15th on Amazon Prime—and I could not be more excited. In preparation for the release, I am going back to each season and re-watching it. Falling in love with the characters again, reliving their journey with Jesus, and watching miracle after miracle unfold right before your eyes.
If you haven’t watched The Chosen yet, don’t panic. You still have time to binge all five seasons and watch the Gospels come alive in a way that will change how you read Scripture. This isn’t just entertainment—it’s an immersive experience.
Season 1 kicks things off with eight episodes totaling about 6 ½ hours of storytelling:
- I Have Called You By Name – 55 mins
- Shabbat – 40 mins
- Jesus Loves the Little Children – 33 mins
- The Rock On Which It Was Built – 49 mins
- The Wedding Gift – 55 mins
- Indescribable Compassion – 53 mins
- Invitations – 38 mins
- I Am He – 60 mins
There is no easing into the story with this show. You’re dropped straight into the world of first‑century Israel, meeting characters left and right. It can feel like a lot at first, which is exactly why I created a study guide to help you track each character and major moment. It keeps you focused, helps you follow the story, and makes the slower early pacing feel intentional instead of overwhelming.
The study guide also highlights where the show follows Scripture closely and where the creators take small creative liberties. It’s a great way to deepen your understanding of the biblical text while enjoying the show’s storytelling. My hope is that you’ll connect with both the series and the Bible in a fresh, exciting way.
Season 1 introduces the core group we’ll follow for the rest of the show. We watch Peter and Andrew, Matthew, and Mary Magdalene encounter Jesus in unforgettable ways. We see Jesus perform His first miracle—and it’s only the beginning. The season closes with the Samaritan woman at the well, a moment so powerful you can practically feel the anticipation for what comes next. She runs to tell everyone about Jesus, and you’re left wanting to run right alongside her.
As we count down to the Season 6 release, I’ll be sharing the final versions of my study guides each week so you can binge the show and follow along. My prayer is that this journey helps you re-engage with Scripture in a fun, vibrant way and see the Bible come to life all over again.
If you’re ready, let’s start the rewatch together. The story is about to get even better.
